Who are the SEEM Members
All members of SEEM have a desire to contribute to a more sustainable and energy efficient Moldova. Whether their background is commercial, educational, governmental or non-profit, all share the common intrest of this topic. Together, the members contribute to SEEM in many different ways in order to raise awareness, educate students and professionals and set up sustainability projects all over Moldova.
Uniqa Wall Systems is the founding partner of the SEEM platform and provided the panel with which the SEEM headquarters is built. It is the ambition of Uniqa to introduce sustainable construction to the Moldovan construction market, by producing well insulated sandwich panels. This technology is acquired from the Netherlands, making Uniqa a Dutch-Moldovan enterprise. Through the SEEM platform Uniqa wants to share the combined knowledge of different market players both inside and outside of Moldova. By organizing trainings and lectures Uniqa hopes that sustainability will be a topic on the agenda of the Moldovan construction industry, through the knowledge shared with SEEM.
The Technical University of Moldova is the co-founder of the SEEM platform and provided the land on which the SEEM headquarters is built. The University is the central educator in Moldova for all engineering related topics. Through SEEM the University hopes to promote sustainability on the university campus, as well as increasing the knowledge of both professors and students alike on this important topic.
